Dr. Dan Westervelt, in collaboration with the Columbia Global Center - Nairobi and Clean Air Toolbox partners KCRC (Kigali Collaborative Research Center), organized a roundtable meeting on Air Pollution with researchers and development partners from Kenya and Uganda. Participating institutions included the University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, the Stockholm Environmental Institute, the Africa Population Health Research Center, UN Environment, Code for Africa, and the AirQo project (Kampala).
The meeting included status updates on science, policy, and health-related air pollution studies in the region and provided an opportunity to identify linkages and foster future collaborations.
